Welcome to the IBEW Local 30 Women’s Committee
Family Day Event – June 13, 2026
This members-only event was held at the New Jersey State Museum featuring private tours of the exhibitions, The Power to Change: Revolutionary Stories from the New Jersey State Archives and American Perspectives: The Fine Art Collection and admission to the Planetarium.
The participation of so many members made this event truly special. Seeing our members and their families explore New Jersey history and art, share a meal, and learn about space exploration reminds us of the strong bonds that unite our Union community. Events like these strengthen our connections beyond the workplace, create lasting memories for our families, and reinforce the Women’s Committee goals to educate, empower, and engage.
We hope you will be able to join us next time.
As a reminder, members are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings and upcoming events.
General Membership meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm at the Union Hall of IBEW Local 269, 670 Whitehead Road, Lawrence, NJ.
Women’s Committee meetings are held virtually on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm. Please email Nancy Hopkins at [email protected] to be added to the Women’s Committee monthly Teams calls.
American Cancer Society’s 31st Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
October 19, 2025
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, volunteers from IBEW LU 30 participated in the American Cancer Society’s 31st annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk to raise funding for awareness for cancer research, patient support and advocacy to end breast cancer!
Thank you to everyone who took part in making this a successful event from planning, donating and attending. It was a beautiful day and a worthy cause and having IBEW LU 30 involved is a wonderful testament to the foundation of this Union. Managers always lead others on the path to helping others to succeed!
