2024 IBEW Local 30 Scholarships
IBEW Local 30 is pleased to announce the
2024 College Scholarship Program
Local 30 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO, will offer annually 15 scholarships of one thousand ($1,000) dollars each for full member’s child(ren).
Each scholarship shall consist of a single payment to the successful applicant; one thousand ($1,000) dollars which would be a full members child(ren).

2025 Central Labor Council Memorial Scholarship
Open to IBEW Local 30 members who live in Monmouth or Ocean Counties, as well as any member of IBEW Local 30.
Applicants must be attending or planning to attend a College, University, or Technical School, and be a member or the child of a current or deceased member of a union affiliated with the Monmouth and Ocean Central Labor Council AFL-CIO. (PLEASE NOTE: The due date on the application should be 2025, not 2024. Also the assignment to prepare and submit a Letter to the Editor does not have to be published. If the letter is published, you should include a copy.)

2025 Union Plus® Scholarship Program
Application deadline: January 31, 2025
Since 1991, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $4.8 million to students of union families. Over 3,200 union families have benefited from our commitment to higher education.
Award amounts: $500 to $4,000. These one-time cash awards are for study beginning in the Fall of 2024. Students may re-apply each year.
Award date: May 31, 2025. During the first week of June 2024 award recipients will be notified by postal mail, and all applicants will be sent email notification.
